These are recommended courses which will continue to grow and evolve. You can study at your own pace and take the time you need to complete your 300 Hour Program with us.
Please keep track of your hours and courses and you can download the tracking sheet here.
You will need to advise the teachers leading your chosen modules that you are from The School of Yoga to ensure the hours of credit for the 300 path.

Having a mentor is an important part of embarking on any path and can help you stay the course and find life long success. Joan will be offering a six week virtual mentorship which will include:

- How to refine your teaching skills through alignment cues & understanding how to read bodies.
- Refine your sequencing skills. Sequencing for beginners, advanced, and working with injuries.
- Teacher/student dynamics and setting boundaries.
- Professionalism, working in group settings and privates.
- Yogic Philosophy and discussion on Yamas and Ethics.
- Creating your project through service helping to align with your dharma.
- You will present this to Joan & Cristina before you graduate for The School of Yoga students.
- Six free classes on Joan’s platform.
- This can count towards your required hours for SOY.
- Written homework and feedback from Joan
- Students will submit a one hour recorded class for Joan to give feedback.

Self Practice is an important part of becoming a yoga teacher and integrating the practice into your daily life.
You will be required to take ten (10) Online Vinyasa Flow Classes on Joan Hyman’s Zoom Platform and five (5) Online classes with Marla Apt (Iyengar Yoga) on her Zoom Platform.
You are required to keep track of your classes on this spreadsheet.

Mentorship Program with Joan (see above for six week program)
After this mentorship program, you are required to have one thirty minute call with Joan and then Cristina at $50USD each which will include a private consultation. After completing your project (see below) you will set up one one hour call with Joan and Cristina for review and to graduate. This call will be $100USD and will be your last piece before graduating.
PROJECT: There will be written assignments including a project that includes how you will bring your yoga teaching into the world. It can be through various channels that Cristina and Joan will help to mentor you on. This course will help you find your true path and align with your dharma. The School of Yoga offers a path and highlights the many different options a yoga teacher can take on their journey, ultimately helping you to serve others and raise more awareness into the world through these ancient practices.
